2x Breast Cancer Survivor in need of a loveseat recliner sofa for upcoming Breast Reconstruction Surgery 12/2024
in Household Needs/School Needs, Special Needs, Tangible ItemsI have a second breast reconstruction surgery in December (Latissimus Dorsi Procedure.) Due to my right breast rejecting my first expansion surgery, I had to have it removed via emergency surgery in August of 2022. Now it is time to get it done again, and it will be a 4-5 hour surgery with a 4-6 week recovery period. All of this stemming from my second bout of breast cancer. Having a loveseat recliner will be vital for my recovery since I can't sleep in my bed the first couple of weeks with the incisions on my back and having multiple surgical drains!!

I'm a partially disabled veteran who has been dealing with a rapidly failing spine for over a decade, with no real explanation as to why that's happening. I just had my first appointment at Johns Hopkins recently. That surgeon referred me to the specialist. On this trip to Baltimore, for a 2 night stay, between the hotel and the travel expenses such as food, gas etc back and forth alone were close to $500. My sister helped me out with that trip but now I have one scheduled October 2-4 to find out when my surgery will be so that will be approximately $250. After I know the surgery date & details of how…

Your generous Gift helps provide a sleeping bag for someone who would otherwise be sleeping on the ground, with no protection from the elements. We are an organization consisting of volunteers whose goal is to bring hope and provisions to our most desperate neighbors. Semper Fi Mission has the ability to not only carry a message of hope, but we help our neighbors with the resources they need to never be homeless or incarcerated again, or to escape their current crisis, and lead fulfilling lives giving back to others.

I have a remote job so I work from McDonald's for their Wi-Fi. I have 4 children who are temporarily staying with my ex husband but we could make a one bedroom apartment work in about 2 weeks but right now I am in need of temporary housing, help with food and hygiene needs. I have very limited funds until my next paycheck in 2 weeks. I have no family nearby and no options right now. Please help with my immediate need and then hopefully I can help finding a place for my children and myself. The $1,500 is approximate what I thought lodging, food etc would cost from today 9/17…
