As a 2x breast cancer survivor at the age of 30 and again at 34, I have been through 22 chemotherapy treatments, 36 radiation treatments and 4 surgeries.  It’s been a journey for me and my family to say the least!  I have a second breast reconstruction surgery in December (Latissimus Dorsi Procedure.)  Due to my right breast rejecting my first expansion surgery, I had to have it removed via emergency surgery in August of 2022.  Now it is time to get it done again, and it will be a 4-5 hour surgery with a 4-6 week recovery period.  All of this stemming from my second bout of breast cancer.  Having a loveseat recliner will be vital for my recovery since I can’t sleep in my bed the first couple of weeks with the incisions on my back and having multiple surgical drains!!
